Meet one of our newest team members, Senior Associate Cindy Stoddard! Here's a little bit about her in her own words:

  1. What’s your name? Cindy Stoddard

  2. What’s your title? Senior Associate

  3. When did you start? Dec. 7, 2023

  4. What do you do here? Bookkeeping and Tax

  5. What did you do before you came to the firm? I was the Plant Accountant at Powder River Energy Corporation in Sundance, WY, for almost 20 years. Then I bought a mobile coffee truck, branded it as Fancy Coffee, and operated it out of Spearfish, SD, but was blessed to brew in 9 communities between SD and WY. It was the greatest adventure of my life.

  6. Do you belong to any professional or community organizations? Tell us about them. My husband and I are small-town community-oriented people, and servant leadership is important to us both. We help wherever the need is, whether it be activities for the youth, the seniors, or anything in between.

  7. What did you want to be when you grew up? A lawyer or an accountant.

  8. What do you do for fun? When I’m not visiting my grandchildren, Kolby and Lexie, I like to hike in the beautiful Black Hills and visit locally owned coffee shops, eateries, wineries, and breweries.

  9. What’s your favorite book? The “Stephanie Plum” novels by Janet Evanovich are pretty fun!

  10. What’s your favorite podcast? Giving Grace with Alexandra Hansen

  11. Who’s your favorite band? Meatloaf

  12. What’s your favorite song? “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey

  13. What’s on your bucket list? I love lists, but a bucket list is not one that I make as I love spontaneity.

DON'T LIKE NUMBERS? WE DO.

At Casey Peterson, LTD, we understand not everyone loves the complexities of accounting like we do. That's what sets us apart from the rest. Our CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors truly love numbers, solving problems, and creating business and financial strategies for our clients.

We’re looking for clients who believe in good customer service — clients who want CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors who are big-picture thinkers and ethical problem solvers. We’re looking for relationships, not transactions.

If you want the same, we should talk.
