Our new admin manager, Leslie Valega, tells a little about herself in the answers to these 15 questions.
- What’s your name? Leslie Valega

- When did you start? Aug. 12, 2024
- What do you do here? I manage the Admin team, facilities, travel and events.
- Where did you or do you go to school, and if you got a degree, what was it in? I went to Colorado State University and have a degree in Business Administration.
- What did you do before you came to the firm? I owned and operated a franchise business for 22 years … and I have always been a CP client!
- Do you belong to any professional or community organizations? Tell us about them. I volunteer regularly at The Club for Boys, especially for their Christmas Families program. I am also graduate of the 2017 Class of Leadership Rapid City.
- What did you want to be when you grew up? Originally, an architect.
- What do you do for fun? I like spending time with my husband and our dogs camping in the summers and spending as much time with family and friends as I can. I enjoy reading, watching motor sports, listening to music and attending concerts.
- What’s your favorite book? I really like historical fiction, and “I Am Ozzy” (Ozzy Osbourne’s memoir) was fun! Ozzy is hilarious!
- What’s your favorite podcast? Currently have been enjoying Lewis Howe’s The School of Greatness.
- What’s your favorite movie? A View From the Top
- Who’s your favorite band? So many bands…and from a lot of genres. Everything from Andrea Bocelli to Keith Urban to Bon Jovi to Daughtry to Ozzy Osbourne…just love it all! Except I’m not really a fan of rap.

- What’s on your bucket list? Lots of travel!
