  4. What do you do here? As an attest associate, I collaborate with the audit team to evaluate financial statements, ensuring they are accurate and comply with regulatory standards. My role involves identifying financial discrepancies, assessing internal controls, and providing recommendations to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  5. Where did you or do you go to school, and if you got a degree, what was it in? I attended Brilliant Grammar High School in India. I am a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant, and I hold a B.Com degree in Commerce. I recently graduated with a master’s degree in accountancy from Case Western Reserve University and am currently pursuing my CPA certification.
  6. What did you do before you came to the firm? I have one and a half years of experience working as an Audit Consultant at Grant Thornton in Bangalore, India. In this role, I was involved in auditing various private and public companies and led a team of five people. Additionally, I completed a three-year internship at SPC & Associates, where I gained extensive experience in audit and assurance, ROC compliance, and tax filing
  7. What did you want to be when you grew up? From a young age, I aspired to have a career in finance and accounting. I was particularly drawn to the role of an auditor and CPA because of my strong interest in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and integrity. I wanted to help organizations maintain transparency and trust through rigorous financial analysis and reporting. Additionally, I aimed to become a successful professional within my company, continuously growing both professionally and technically, and contributing to the betterment of the firm.
  8. What do you do for fun? Outside of my professional endeavors, I am passionate about maintaining a balanced lifestyle. I have practiced yoga for several years, finding it beneficial for both physical health and mental well-being. Reading books is another cherished activity of mine, with my latest read being “It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover. I also prioritize physical fitness through regular exercise, recognizing its importance for both personal well-being and achieving work-life balance.

I’m passionate about professional makeup artistry and plan to share my skills and experiences through YouTube. Additionally, I prioritize taking care of my parents and making wise investments for future financial security and growth.
